Tunesday 4th August, 2015: Stronger Than Ever - Raleigh Ritchie

Hola people!

A few weeks ago a friend of mine - the lovely Ife - introduced us to the beautifully soulful Kwabs, and a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to see him live. From the idyllic Somerset House venue, to Kwabs himself, his fantastic backup singers who also turned out to be top class dancers, and a guitarist that made me stop in my tracks at his solos, everything about the concert was stupendous; everything including the opening acts, Zak Abel and Raleigh Ritchie.

His incredible energy throughout made Raleigh Ritchie's entire set brilliant (so much so that I went home and downloaded his EP), and today's pick Stronger Than Ever, was the track that struck me as a song that one could relate to on several levels. The lyrics are essentially one giant quote, but as it relates to OrangeMouth and mental health, the line that stood out most is:

I'm not defeated, I believe that I can turn this ship around

You can tell from the Instagram that OM is a big on thinking positively, so I thought that line was both awesome and inspiring!

Now considering that music is something that he chose to do in addition to his acting career (you may recognise him from Game of Thrones), I think he's nailing it! Anyway, enough of my chatting! The video for Stronger Than Ever is below.
